Matthew R. Bennett is Professor of Archaeology at the University of Reading and Emeritus Professor at Bournemouth University. A geographer and geomorphologist by training, his passion for landscapes began during a childhood spent exploring the mountains of Snowdonia (Eryri) in North Wales.
