Rachel Tan

Rachel Tan is a neuroscientist based at the Brain and Mind Centre at the University of Sydney. She is a current FightMND Mid-Career Research Fellow and a former NHMRC Fellow. Her research focuses on understanding the pathological brain changes that give rise to neurodegeneration in patients, with the goal of uncovering what goes wrong in the brain, and why these diseases develop and progress differently in each person, to advance biomarker discovery and targeted interventions.
